The Arc of Hudson County is a non-profit organization that provides services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in

County since 1997. The Arc of Hudson County offers an array of services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in the community.
One of the programs we provide in Hudson County is our after school program which currently provides services for 14 individuals ages 6-21 years old referred by the New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities. The program runs Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.The program is located at our Hudson County Resource Center in Union City New Jersey. The participants are transported to the program by their school and they are to be picked up at the center at 6:00pm by their families.
The Goals of the after school program are to provide a supervised and nurturing environment for individuals with developmental disabilities and also provide social and recreational activities according to the needs and interests of the program participants. Our participants are engaged in the following activities: help with homework, snack, arts and crafts, exercise, and leisure time.
